If you are looking for a newborn photographer to capture your precious moments then look no further. Mel was absolutely fantastic- from the first time we spoke I knew that she would be perfect. She instantly put me at ease and created a really safe space in her studio. She was really flexible about the date of the shoot, depending on when my baby arrived and was always on the end of the phone if I needed to check any details.
She allowed plenty of time for me to breastfeed (as we were having a cluster feed day!) and worked around my little one’s schedule. She gave direction to ensure that she captured some amazing shots which I will cherish forever. They really are everything I could have hoped for and more
After our session, Mel was really quick to give me a preview which I was really grateful for. She also messaged just to check in which was so lovely, and really made the whole experience feel like it was with a friend.
I couldn’t recommend Mel enough and will definitely be going back for further shoots as our family grows.

I booked her for a newborn/family shoot and was blown away by how at ease Mel made us all feel before, during and after the shoot, she created a fun and calm space full with laughter. Mel has been on a journey with us as a family, photographing our pregnancy, newborn and recently a Mother’s Day shoot. I have such special memories of working with her during our sessions. Mel has such a warm and comforting character and she really puts you as ease while she taking photos. She has been amazing with our little girl, as a newborn we had gorgeous smiles captured which I will treasure forever. Recently Mel even took beautiful photos of my now toddler, who at the time really wasn’t up for taking photos, but Mel made the session fun and had such patience with her, she ended up getting gorgeous shots.
